This is almost unbelievable but I believe you and am so sorry this happened to you and the others involved. Breathe deeply of the freedom Christ bought for you! I hope you are part of a healthy, biblical community now. Thanks for your bravery in writing so others can recognize ungodly control in whatever form it takes.
Thank you! Yes, I have been through therapy, and can look back on this with different eyes now. I see God in my whole story, even the tragic parts. And yes, I’m in a wonderful church now, and I love the body of Christ so much.
